I just saw a video on facebook which is essentially a sting operation on some petrol bunks in Bangalore. Unfortunately the video is in Kannada and is a little dramatic in the way the speaker presents it but you get the picture

How do we fight these? 10 litres of petrol paid for, translates to 8 and 8.5 in some of the cases. Which means we are essentially paying about Rs 100/litre of petrol.
I have heard many times that petrol from Shell bunks give good mileage, probably this video solves the reason behind that :)
