Stealing Petrol

Well! I guess you would have thought I was speaking about stealing from bikes or vehicles parked on the road.

I just saw a video on facebook which is essentially a sting operation on some petrol bunks in Bangalore. Unfortunately the video is in Kannada and is a little dramatic in the way the speaker presents it but you get the picture

How do we fight these? 10 litres of petrol paid for, translates to 8 and 8.5 in some of the cases. Which means we are essentially paying about Rs 100/litre of petrol.

I have heard many times that petrol from Shell bunks give good mileage, probably this video solves the reason behind that :)

experts | a whole bag of them

With the easy accessibility of social networking media .. these days almost everyone considers themselves self proclaimed experts.

You can see 12th graders, advertisers and engineers making strong comments on what and how our RBI governor should be doing. Most of them do not know the meaning of "credit" and "debit" on their account statement.

Or for that matter, people who have never voted even once making statements on which political party should be ruling and why.

Why! we got experts who call themselves secular going on a war footing echoing support for a true fascist advocate.. No points for guessing.

I was just reading a comment from someone on Facebook - ":( feeling lost "
The reason for his comment - he has got his reservations against  the food security bill based on some other persons article.

Wow! with so many experts we should have been the most advanced nation in the world.

I really think people should write and comment only when they think they know something about what they are speaking.. else kindly shut up.
